Chelsea on Tuesday announced the signingEden Hazard’s brother, Kylian Hazard from Hungarian side Ujpest.
The 22-year-old, a younger brother of Eden, is an attacking midfielder who started his professional career in his native Belgium, first with White Star Brussels and then Zulte-Waregem before joining Ujpest in the summer of 2015.
An official statement on the Blues’ website wrote: “Kylian Hazard has today signed for Chelsea from Hungarian side Ujpest, and will join our development squad.”
Hazard who featured 42 times for Ujpest after arriving from Zulte Waregem in the summer of 2015 becomes the latest Hazard brothers to sign for Chelsea following the earlier arrivals of Eden and Thorgan in 2012.
Recall Chelsea in July 2012, confirmed on its website that the club had
terms with Lens for the transfer of Thorgan Hazard, soon after the signing of his brother Eden from Lille.
Thorgan spent the next two seasons on loan at Zulte Waregem (2012-14) before another loan spell at Mönchengladbach in 2014-15 before signing a permanent deal with the Bundesliga outfit.
Chelsea’s development squad is next in action at home to Sunderland on Saturday 9 September.
